We are a month into spring and the bird world is abuzz with activity. Birds are courting, nesting, feeding babies, dressing in their best “get a date” costumes, and migrating to breeding territories in our area and beyond. The tiny northern parula is one of the first neo-tropical migrants to appear in early March. Listen for an ascending buzzy trill with a bit of a zip at the top.
