The time has come to address high-speed corridors slicing through Savannah neighborhoods

A wreck damaged the front steps of a home near the intersection of Anderson and Paulsen streets last week.

A photo posted to the Facebook group Traffic Calming Needed in Downtown Savannah showed the vehicle listed to one side in the yard, partially supported by the brick steps. 

That wreck came just a few weeks after a driver did significant damage to the façade of a business near the intersection of Anderson and Bull streets. About that same time, a two-car wreck at Lincoln and Anderson left one car onto the sidewalk. A nearby house at Abercorn and Anderson sustained significant damage earlier this year after being hit yet again.
